Following the CDC rules, Armstrong Transportation continues following the protocols to minimize exposure and to avoid cross-contamination when our passengers and members rides on our vehicles.
On Jun 15, 2021 CDC mandates California, in specific Los Angeles CA which is where our units operates, to open public places with a limited use of masks. We at Armstrong Transportation, will continue using PPE equipment, despite our employees all are vaccinated.
What about the transportation of Covid 19 positive patients?
- We are taking extra precautions when transporting passengers to their doctor's appointments, dialysis centers, nursing facilities and boarding care.
We are provided with 3M power respirators with full mask and overall suits to protect our drivers and members.
We are limiting the use of our vehicles for that purpose to 1 or 2 units, which are not used on the daily basis to transport any other patients.
We continued sanitizing and disinfecting our wheelchair van vehicles, power lift ramp vehicles, power and manual gurneys and all equipment use on stairs evacuations from homes and apartments.
All our stretchers, wheelchairs, gurneys, transfer pads for bedbound passengers are disinfected on the daily basis or after a single use during the day.
